Dear Friends,
We all travel for the thrill of discovery, a deeper understanding of other cultures and the pleasure of a fine meal and a smile. For over 20 years now, we have dedicated ourselves to these pursuits. In developing our walking programs, we have slowed the pace of our journey to savor the intimate experiences that still abound in Europe.
Dave first fell in love with Europe as a student where improvised stops on his Eurail pass made clear that there were an abundance of locales as yet undiscovered. These adventures ultimately led him to a study of three languages, work experiences in Paris, Frankfurt, Munich and Chiavenna, in Italy. In 1989 he began to design and lead walking tours and has been sharing his beloved Europe with travelers ever since.
Donna hails from a different type of European experience, being born into an extended Italian American family in Brooklyn, New York. The Italian traditions of family, laughter and festive cuisine have run through her blood since birth and when she met Dave along the trails of Europe in 1994, something clicked.
Together we are Next Step European Travel. Our goal is to offer you the ultimate in personal service. We will be with you for the entire journey, from your first inquiries on the phone until our melancholy goodbyes at the end of your journey. We believe this is what distinguishes us from other companies, and ultimately why we have come to know so many of you as friends.
