Information For Arriving At Your Tour Departure Point
Our tour begins at the Hotel Adler in St. Ulrich of the Val Gardena in Italy. The Val Gardena is reached via Bolzano which lies approx. 2 hours north of Verona on the main railway route between Italy and Austria. Trains leave Verona almost hourly in this direction. From Bolzano, the most convenient way to reach the Val Gardena is by taxi. This is a 45 minute journey and will cost approx. $110. You will be reimbursed for your taxi costs upon arrival.

Official check-in time at the hotel is 2:00 PM, though our rooms are usually available earlier. The Hotel Adler has complete spa facilities as well as a private park and pool. It is situated directly in the village center. At 6:30 PM your group will meet for a welcome refreshment before dinner. Here you will be introduced to your guides and have a chance to hear more about your trip.
Important Note: If you are arriving at Malpensa Airport in Milan and wish to transfer to Milan’s central railway station, you have three options. One: Taxi (cost approx: $120). Two: Buses leave every half hour to Milan Central station (cost approx: $15 per person). Three: Train service from the airport to Milan North station (cost approx: $8 per person). This train does not stop at Milan Central station where all trains to other cities depart from. You must switch to a subway for three stops to make the connection to Milan Central.
