Information For Arriving At Your Tour Departure Point
Our tour begins at the Hotel Castello di Santa Vittoria d'Alba in the heart of Vittoria d'Alba, a small village just outside of the city of Alba. Because Alba has no railway station, it is easiest to arrange for a taxi directly to the hotel. If you are arriving by train, Turin is the most convenient connection. From here you can take a taxi from the central station. This will take a little over an hour and should cost approx. $125 to $150. We will reimburse you upon your arrival for your taxi expense.
Important Note: The hotel offers a pick-up service from either airport but this must be booked well in advance. Please let us know your precise travel plans and we would be happy to try and arrange a private pick-up for you.
Official check-in time at the hotel is 2:00 PM, though our rooms are usually available earlier. At 6:30 PM, our group will meet for a welcome refreshment on the terrace outside overlooking the wine country. Here you will be introduced to your guides and have a chance to hear more about your trip.
