Information For Arriving At Your Tour Departure Point
Our tour begins at the intimate and stylish Hostellerie le Phebus in the countryside outside Roussillon, just 40 minutes by taxi from the train station in Avignon. Simply take a taxi directly from the station (cost approx. $115) and your guides will reimburse you for your taxi costs upon arrival.
The best way to arrive in Avignon from the United States is to fly to Paris, Charles De Gaulle Airport, and take the high speed train (TGV) directly to Avignon. This train takes about 2.5 hours and leave hourly from the Paris Gare de Lyon station. There are also many departures directly from the airport which allow you to avoid going into Paris. Most major car rental agencies are also represented in Avignon.
Official check-in time at our hotel is 2:00 PM though our rooms are often available earlier. At 6:30 PM we will all meet for a welcome cocktail and dinner where you will hear more about the trip and meet your guides.
