Information For Arriving At Your Tour Departure Point
Our tour begins at the lovely Hotel Relais Ducale, in the center of Gubbio. To reach Gubbio, take the train to Arezzo and taxi to the hotel. Arezzo can be reached by train from Rome or Florence, as well as by car. Trains to Arezzo depart almost hourly from each station and the journey is about 2 hours from Rome and 1.5 hours from Florence. From the train station in Arezzo, take a taxi directly to the hotel in Gubbio, a journey of about one hour which should cost approx. 130 Euros.
If you are arriving by car, Arezzo is well connected by highway to Rome and Florence. Most car rental agencies are represented there.
Official check-in time at the hotel is 2:00 PM, though our rooms are usually available earlier. One of your guides will contact you during the day to make sure that all is well. At 6:30 PM, our group will meet in the main salon for a welcome refreshment. Here, you will be introduced to your guides and have a chance to hear more about your trip.
